To be honest I don't even like oysters. Do I think they are cool creatures and enjoy the look of pearls... yes. Will I be eating them? Hard no! But that just means theres more for all you oyster lovers out there. This piece has therefore been inspired by both my childhood growing up next door to the ocean and my parents love for them. Plus I really wanted to challenge myself and see if I could capture the wet gleam of their flesh.
